Loving the Dry down the Daly

Post by MR126 »

Spent the last couple days down the Daly and lucky enough to land some nice chrome fish and one fat lady, :D
The water temp was 25.6 in the morning.
Found some green water and started marking fish.
Worked hard yesterday in the windy condition with the fish only slapping the lures.
But today they were in active feed mode
We landed 12 fish up to 117 and dropped a couple too.

Great fish....

Spent last Thursday to Saturday down there with a mate up from Melbourne and landed 9 fish with a nice 80 being the biggest. ( waiting for mate to send pics ) fishing was good with plenty of bait moving up with the tide. All fish were caught downstream from the boat ramp

Pulled out on Saturday afternoon and the boat that pulled out before me had he's car trashed. Windows all scratched with a rock in the 6 hours he had been there. I had palm prints on my Windows as someone was looking in to see if there was anything to steal, no damage but so was lucky.
A Fish in the Boat is Worth Five in the Shop.

Gotta love fishing when the air temp is cool! Beanies on must of been fairly brisk but the fish are still there!
