Shady report

Post by Matt Flynn »

From a FFF regular who is having trouble signing in ... I am posting for him.

"I fished Shady Camp on Sunday, the front was all blown out and dirty with the large seas wind tides etc. There is a fair bit of fresh coming over the barrage but its rather smelly and there is quiet a few dead barra etc coming over also. There is no real flow over the other barrages at that stage hopefully that will change with yesterdays big rains up that way. Fishing at the barrage at the top of the tide was poor with the bottom half a little better."

Cheers for the report saved some $ there on a trip out... LB goes OK on ''opening day '' off the barrage on clear DOA bait busters and 5in pink /white storms as well as skitterpops with no hooks and white clouser trailer on 30cm of 45lb mono. Also white or green back xr5 rigged with a single hook kills it too.

No BS..... try it if youre a skeptic.
Tight lines 'n' keep the shiny side up people.

My landlord fished the barrage Monday week ago and landed 12.......
Biggest was 50cm. All caught in a 1 and a half hour period.
Apparently there was a few other guys there as well and he only saw 1 keeper caught.
