Some great fish in that result, that's a big-fish river!

Re: Barra Bounty Fishing Comp - Fitzroy R Qld
The banning of the nets has seen more bigger fish turning up all over the place. Town reach CBD has been producing fish of metre daily right through winter.
The interesting thing this time about the Bounty is the live app for reporting, collating and displaying results live on the web. Called TRACKMYFISH. Used it last year as a trial, refined it and now operational.
No more end of day collating, transcribing delays and errors in results. All live.
App designed locally by InfoFish Aus Services and is used for things other than competitions. InfoFish is the mob who do the water part of Million $ fish for NT tourism.
It seems that the Bass Tournaments in the US and charter industry in South America are interested in the system. Don't know how it will go in SA as its dependent on mob phone coverage.
You need an IPhone device to record what you catch and then the system takes over and sends details automatically when it gets within range. Store and forward technology.
Pretty cool stuff.
In rivers like Daly or Roper, days catch can be stored in phone and uploaded automatically as boat comes back into mobile phone coverage at Banyan or Ngukurr settlement.
All auto.
