It was crazy stuff, and then as quickly as it started, it was over. Put plenty back, kept some nice ones. A session like that in good company is one of the best things about fishing. Some very big smiles today!

Super day on the harbour
After some good recent outings, headed out with my son and his friend to chase barra again....yes, it was a school day, so I decided to label it a "junior development day" to get a positive spin on it! Attached some pics which speak for themselves, after a few 70+ fish on the troll things were going OK but had slowed down a bit..... then in a random spot we found ourselves in the middle of one of those freakish bites where for about 45 minutes it went berserk, someone was either getting hit, dropping one, on a fish or screaming for the net which had another fish still tangled in it! It was crazy stuff, and then as quickly as it started, it was over. Put plenty back, kept some nice ones. A session like that in good company is one of the best things about fishing.
