Harbour hit n run!

Post by matt w » Thu Sep 07, 2017 6:55 am

Had my preferred tide lined up a few weeks out, plan was to just fish tide under 3m, and home early. Quick run from Dinah Beach and on arrival water looked super, clear from recent neaps and low winds. Coming of a good morning high there was plenty of good colour change. Had it too myself which never hurts, and a mix of flicking and trolling over 3 hours produced a few little trevally and javelins, and Barra at 45, 62, 72 and 75 cms. All fish solidly hooked. ...no half interest today, they were belting the lures properly. Small solid lures seemed best. Snuck up the ramp at 2.8m, I love it when a plan comes together ! :)
