I want to fish the east in the next few weeks. Just after any information on if it's possible to launch at the top ramp and head over the crossing? Obviously because the downstream ramp is inaccessible.

Any advice on this is appreciated

pretty sure you woudn't get across the rocks would stop you. I doubt the water would ever get high enough to clear them? if you can get to the top ramp you should be able to get to the bottom one there only 1km apart ?

Was there last Saturday, Saltwater ramp is at a perfect height and can be used no matter what tide at the moment, there was just over 2M of water at Cahill crossing and I could boat over it to go up the "Fresh" side.

So yes you could put in the fresh ramp but no real point.

Magela and the S Bends was at 1.1M (Only attempt if you have a well sealed snorkel and don't mind filling your car with water)
I was in a 4 inch Lifted 79 series and still got a little water in my car.

Hope this info helps you out.

Boated 4 Barra 50cm-64cm. (No Monsters)

Lost around 10+ barra (Jump/Shake then Spit)

All on soft plastics and all within a 2 Hour period from the first push out of the Tide.
