March 16 barramundi fishing reports

Post by Matt Flynn » Thu Mar 16, 2017 1:05 pm

From the Darwin tackle shops ...

Finniss and Little Finniss have been fishing well, load of boats fished last weekend on the bigger tides ... heap of trailers at Dundee after the "secret" got out ...

Daly also fishing well.

Finniss and Daly are the current pick.

Mary had not much water over the barrage recently but a heap of water is coming down from the Bridge Lagoon.

South Alligator has produced mostly smaller fish up at Nourlangie Creek, not many reports from the mouth.

Adelaide River still producing a few.

Long distance travellers going from Dundee to Anson Bay have done alright at Reynolds River and Anson 1.

Also been mackies at the drill rig, and jewies at the Fentons.

Lots of barra are showing up on FB and there are also people who have caught good fish trying to brag without letting cat out of the bag :D

I have never seen Shady camp as quiet as it was from Thursday to Monday. Even on Saturday and Sunday, there weren't too many there.
