shady friday 3/2/17

Was planning to go Monday but the weather forecast & an impromptu day off compelled me to go Friday
Gentlemen's hours meant I launched at 0900 & decided to go up Tommicut looking for some high tide creek runoffs, turned out no coastal or creek runoffs so back to inside the mouth, 1st troll & this jumps on, 2 rods out & raining, didn't manage to stuff it up & landed it single handed.
had the place to myself, now that doesn't happen often.......
excuse the photo, I'm still learing how to use a selfie stick properly
As soon as the tide started getting some run, the breeze picked up & washed out any possibility of mouth trolling, Sampan was even rougher. pulled the pin & was home by 5
Only 8 trailers at the carpark & water up to the treeline, road ok but will chop up pretty quick
that was the only fish caught but it broke the drought I've had lately
early days yet
cheers
Geoff
