Went out to shady over the weekend to try for the barra but was pretty quiet so with a tide change coming up headed out for a jew... nailed this one in 4m of water and ran hard on barra gear...

Nice fish mate, ive never had a go for jews out there is there a known reef or do you just poke around until you found fish?

There's a few reefs out the front you can find them in the fishfinder book

Excelent effort on barra gear mate. They pull some string in the shallows n don't get barotrauma coming off that area. Get any good goldies off it? we've only managed pan sized ones on that set of reefs out the front.
