Bynoe 18th-20th November
Tommy222 and I went out to Bynoe last weekend for a 3 day trip. We launched from Keswick and headed out to our pelagic hot spot 60km out. We caught stacks of queenfish and a bunch of nice brassies, as well as a couple of tuna and small mackerel. Usually we get stacks of spanish out there too, maybe they've moved on for the year.
We headed back into the harbour around 2pm and put some slabs of mack tuna down for a jewie. I hooked something massive and locked up the drag, unfortunately a massive stingray came to the surface. All we caught was a Powertail. We set some crab pots then set up camp at Keswick.
The view is awesome from Keswick, and we figured we should catch some breeze later in the evening. It was a bit sweaty to start with but I slept well. Day 2 was barra day, but at the top of the tide firat thing we soaked some more tuna slabs for zip. Then we fished the flats on the outgoing tide for 5 barra and a thready. The barra weren't as numerous or visible as other trips to my spots there but we still got a few. The crab pots had mostly been picked clean and only had a few blue swimmers in them.
We then packed up the boat and dropped into Finniss Fresh for a night time flick. It was tricky navigating back in pitch black, and there was apparently a big croc at the ramp. We jigged a big snag pile for a few hits but no fish. Back to camp at Keswick.
This night started cool but then it poured with rain, flooding the campsite and drenching us. I shivered in my wet dome and Tommy took refuge in the Cruiser. We hit the flats again for another 2 barra, shook a few more blue swimmers out of the pots then headed home to clean up.
Thanks for the great trip Tommy!

Yeah beach then rubble as the tide drops. It's very firm and sheltered though
