Fishing Darwin Harbour today, mixed bag

Went into a small creek of Middle Arm.
Good start to the day with 1 barra in the boat with in 1/2 hour.
Slow going till the tide came in, then a run of golden snapper, bream and small trevally.
Was busted of by a stonker fish, jumped 3 times clear of the water, ran a 100mt of line out.
As it was going away from me, only saw it's shoulders to tail.
I was patient and let it run with a big bend in my 6 to 8kg rod and 3/4 drag.
Leader broke in the end.
Mystery fish? calling it a barra, as with all fish I loose.
