Boat transport

Post by Parksy »

Hi all,
Anyone know of a transport company that will transport my Dinghy from Perth WA to Darwin?
Total length 4.5m
Width 2.0m
Hieght 2.0m
weight 250kg
I have rang a few people but have had some rediculus quotes 1 being $3500.
I was looking around the $800 to $1000 mark.

Thanks in advance

Your dingy is 2 meters high? Have u tried just a small truck and throw it in the back

Can we just take the warning stickers off everything and let natural selection take its place, I mean if its spinning fast dont put your fingers in it..... Its not hard

Try Jolly and sons or WA freight group. They bring freight up for my work and see they often have boats in their yard. 0437 698939. No idea what their prices are like.

Hi parksy, your gonna struggle to get around that rate unfortunately freight to darwin is typically pretty pricey. A couple freight companys I use are openica transport and aquatic boat transport, both have websites, aquatic sometimes move boats to perth for telwater (quintrex, stacer ,savage) might get lucky with backload back from perth

The rate might be a bit ambitious but another company to try would be [email protected]
