153.5kg Tuna!
Hi guy's long time since I last posted but I had to tell you all about the tuna I caught on Sunday. Fishing out of my home port Apollo Bay with mates Troy Janssens and Dean Candy we set out in search of the first Bluefin Tuna of the season. After a slow start we found some diving birds and feeding seals and put the lures in the water. Soon after we were hooked up and after a 4.5 hour fight had the massive fish at the side of the boat. I took all three of us about 30min to get the thing onto the boat and back at the ramp in weighed in at 153.5kg!

Brilliant catch Kenty. You must have done everything right. Don't know how you got it over the side.

Fishing in the top end isn't just a matter of life or death, it's much much more serious than that.

Isn't a tuna that size worth a good couple grand in the market?
