a tuna that size on the market would definalty be worth a few grand maybe around the 50k to 70k, depending on the quality and how bruised the flesh was etc.... i hope it tasted delish

And i like catching the tuna we get up here at 6-10kg. That thing would have been great fun for the first hour. After that i reckong you would be well tired and over it. Great catch mate

Freakin great fish mate. I have an old fishing mag from my grampa that has pics of guys with 1000lb tuna in the boat from back in the 70's.
