Don't think there's a big choice ,I looked around a bit they all look similar
Had my $ 30 dollar job on from repco for a few years and it still unlocks and
works fine, not that I unlock it often just keep it lubed in case I have to.

Pin lock
Coupling lock
Padlock on the hitch lift
2 padlocks on the chains
If they get it after all that ,,, your insurance co got nothing to bitch about

Whats best lube for locks these days?? Seems to vary a lot depending on who ya talk to you?

Used to be graphite, then crc's, then lanotecs, then something else.... What you use jeff?

For locks I use silicone spray, hangs around after it has dried up a little, unlike oil based sprays.
Graphite powder no good up here, glugs up

never use graphite in a lock exposed to weather, silicone sprays are good
but I,ve been using L10 for every thing , magic stuff .
you should still work the lock occasionally .

My hitch has a spot built into it to fit a padlock (wich I do) I thought most have this now so as you can lock it onto the towball

Ahhhh ! you must be talking about the tow bar pin
Drill it and fit a brass and stainless padlock

Put a nut and bolt thru and weld the nut.

How many people actually take there hitch out ever? Prolly not many

If you want to remove it just grind the nut off.

This keeps the honest thieves away!
