Kayak fishing East Point

Post by BarraMunga »

Hi all, I got a 2.8m kayak last week and have been out a few times just off the end of East Point. I'm pretty new to kayak stuff —just been chasing birds and trolling Rapala’s. I've caught heaps of trevally and queenfish, and a few cod on the bottom. Anyone else have luck in the area lately?

I used to fish the very end of it. Came off once in strong current which put me off it. Also used to fish the bay between there and Nightcliff until I saw a croc

Bought a tinny with the Kevin07 money and haven't looked back!
