Got this Powertail with some very weird growths on its top lip, I definitely have never seen anything like it before.

After having such a great day with the missus, I took the young bloke back out there but it was a lot quitter day. We still got some nice Goldies around the 45cm mark and a couple of small jewies. It’s diffidently the dry season though with a thick smoke haze and raining ash for a lot of the day.

Perons again, little bit windy, had a ball and the young feller cleaned up!

Great variety again jigging around the place :D

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

Some great pix being posted.

Camera quality on phones sure has improved, amazing clarity.

The Powertail is weird, not seen that before.

Went exploring in the bay, got few muddies, nice thready and one bazz. Ended up with 5 crabs. Strange all of them were the the orange ones. Over the last two months have been getting mainly green muddies from the bay.

Cheers

I just got back from a 3-week road trip down to Mount Isa where we spent 2 weeks camped on Corella dam. I didn't wet a line but there were plenty of red claw around. We started out just boiling them but we moved up to red claw surf n turf and then even red claw pizzas. It is such an amazing spot to camp and we even had a little freshie that would come and say hello so we didn't get home sick :)
