I had a great trip last week to the top of the south. A bit of info:
Plenty of depth at the ramp still, no sign of silting up just yet
Nourlangie is running really low with heaps of gnarly trees in the water
Quite a few mullet upstream
Top of the South is now very shallow and tidally dominated- no access at low tide
We trolled up a bunch of nice barra on the incoming, plenty showing on the sounder following the bait up
Should be good fishing for a bit!
Tight lines!
