Re: Fotofish 2021 - all entries on this thread
A bit windier today but made the run over to west arm. Managed a couple of undersize Barra, small flathead and a powerful before getting this one on a 3 inch prawn. The salmon and Barra around seemed to be fixated on the jelly prawns ATM.
Got a bit wet on way back with the wind picking up.
Also if anyone was out that way today and noticed a canopy man Bimini cover I lost mine out of my boat today somewhere. Pretty certain it's gone for good. But if someone has found it please don't hesitate to PM me.
Cheers

Re: Fotofish 2021 - all entries on this thread
Took a couple of mates out for a run in the harbour today. Down at ramp by 6 met with flat seas.punched straight over to the arm. Started off sounding up some rubble and jigging with vibes. By 7:30am we had landed a couple of golden snapper, a barracuda, couple of trevally, a Queenie and a large goldspot cod. As the tide was approaching an ideal height it was time to start chasing Barra.
First creek produced a XOS blue salmon on a vibe and that was it for first creek, checked some drains on the way to second creek.
Which ended up with me boating a nice little 63cm Barra on a prawn placcie. Moved over to the second creek and this ended up being a great idea with some more blue salmon playing the game, and just on the first push of the incoming producing a double hookup with a mate getting his first thready and my other mate scoring a 68cm Barra. As the tide pushed up a few more missed strikes so made the move to some flats nearby. I ended up sight casting a couple of rats using a zman frog. With end of day nearing my mate was flicking a frog while I started prepping boat for trip back to ramp. Not long after a boof was heard turned around and he was connected to his first Barra on surface. This one ended up going 66cm a nice way to finish day. Trip back was perfect with calm seas as we left the arm.
Cheers
