Unless you are fishing a wreck 5m is f-ing rude.
What's with the fire Ninja? A burn-off or bushfire?

I watched one of those fires grow over near Kununurra once until it finally formed some rain that put it out.
Awesome sight to see.

Couple more from the weekend. Did a run to middle arm with a mate managed 2 legals and a few undersize Barra. Missed a good one due to short striking that would of been over 80. Also did a run last Friday night to the bay for some crabbing ended up with 9 legals.
Cheers

Dundee run yesterday little bit of swell but not too bad.
Hit the arrival wreck to see if there any jewies about.
None wanted to play the game got the usual Goldie's, blue salmon and stripes. Then the sounded lit up mid water dropped plastics and vibes down to end up having a good little session on Queenie's ranging from 80cm to a metre. After about half an hour left them biting to head out wider for some reefies. Ended up at sailcity with usual loads of trickies, cod, blue one and a nice red.
Mates got a couple of small cobia. I also jigged up a couple of brassy. Bit later in the day we had tuna busting up around the boat.
First cast with the plastic and got a. Nice little Mack tuna.
Which is good now I have some.more crab bait for next weekend.
But of a bumpy ride back but all in all good day out.
Cheers

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!

Great pics Dennis, looks like you scored some good weather also
As promised Ninja, did a few runs over the last few days. First one was a night time shoal bay run got a wet ass thanks to a couple of storms saved the night with a 73cm Barra taking a liking to my popper.
With the storms hitting mainly at night decided on a couple of harbour runs to west arm. Saturday proved to be a Stallard day with boating 11 Barra for the day and a Queenie. Four legal fish in the 60s with a few dropped legal fish similar size. Water temp was around 31 degrees and bait everywhere ended up hitting 3 different creeks and the flats with a 5inch yakimoto plastic doing most of the damage in mullet pattern followed by some surface lures. The Barra were feeding on mullet, prawns, glass fish and juvenile long time.
Went back again on Sunday to see how we would fair. Started the morning a bit wet, and worked same areas boated 4 Barra only one that was size going 58cm and my mate getting a nice Goldie and blue salmon. Creeks still had bait but alot less active in each area through outgoing and incoming. Water temp slightly higher despite the morning rain.
At least the seas were nice to us over the weekend and I got my Barra fix for a while. The Barra in the bay and the harbour are definitely on the chew guys and plenty of bait about.
Cheers

Half a dozen baby nannies today with the boy. Takes a bit of work to fillet them up but they're tasty!
