Apart from blowing a gale and water of 24 degrees the conditions didn’t look that bad in the harbour but it took four hours of constant casting to land a fish. I was at a spot that has become pretty reliable in the past few months for two or three fish so I knew the fish were there but they just weren’t playing the game. I flogged this creek to death and literally five minute before calling it a day I finally landed this bloke (60).

Still finding a few on the chew. Biggest went 55 but had a range if different fish hitting lures last friday and managed 11 Barra. Made for a great day even if the water was 23.3 degrees

how many is enough lures, rods and reels. Is there a magic number, considering you usually only catch 1 fish on a single lure on the one rod and reel your casting with.

Nice work Flicken. I fished Alligator all weekend and found it very tough. One rat and dropped a few. Put it down to the cold snap we had just before we went..... :?

He forewarned me that he was leaving on a late July trip, and wouldn't be able to post until August. Others have done this.

Fair call. Someone has pointed out that the exif data says the fish was caught August 2, on the strength of that the fish will be moved to the August round.

Apologies to Swoffa for the spreadsheet capers :D

Anyone going away on extended trips and forewarning me will have to enter their fish in the appropriate round as shown by the exif data on the pic.
