I'm from Tassie. Is there any word on the street up there about border closures and things up there? I've got 3 days on the Daly booked early next month and don't wanna miss out now there's some water about

Not sure where you get your info from shamozzle but there ain't much water anywhere in the rivers up here,
good chance that by next month they will be at very low levels, unless there is a monsoon burst.
As for closed borders, all aboriginal areas are closed, Arnhem land, Tiwi Islands etc.

I realise it's no blinder of a wet but it looks better now than it did a month ago bigwoody. Just trying to stay a bit optimistic.
I'll book my airfares and head up anyway I think

Might be tassie that’s your problem now, not the Nt. Might not be able to get home if you come. Could be worse places to be stranded

I meant they will never have the ability to patrol ALL the borders up here.. Its too vast, and not enough people to do it..
