went to Shady on Thursday last week to hit the coastal creeks. decision was made to head to Marsh, but we were too late and there was about 15 boats there, so we decided to head back and find another coastal creek, found one that looked promising. one deckie landed a 55cm and i missed a good one. we decided to leave that creek and found a better looking one. it produced the goods for us. landed 4 more barra, probably lost just as many in the tight country. we had to leave them biting so we didn't get stuck, hardest decision to make. had a look at Tommy cut and sampan mouths for nothing to keep us hanging around. headed home reasonably early.
biggest for the day was deckie #2 with and 89cm, i managed a 71cm. not a bad day out.

Re: FFF Seadogs 2020 - Round 1
Finally got on the water yesterday for my one and only trip for the month. Drove through a decent storm on the way to SWA, which turned the road to slosh making it interesting. I was surprised the entire SWA/Adelaide/Wiltshire creeks were all full of tannin coloured water. I expected it to clear up as the tide pushed in but it didn't. I couldn't find a Barra but I did troll up a blue salmon which then became Jewie bait. I got this 107cm just before the Powertail moved in and took over.

64cm from a shady coastal creek on a 008 B52. Minimal bait amd no runoff. Came back to the ramp yesterday and it was a ghost town, no one on the barrage and 2 cars left in the car park.
Good wet season to skip

Some very chrome barra in Round 1. Well done to those who got a fish in early.
Many thanks to Swoffa for the spreadsheet.
Please PM me any score adjustments or appeals.
Still plenty of time to register new boats to enter

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!
