We all know the rivers are low, good old Mt.Todd mine is doing its bit by adding some liquid.
Take a look at the Fergusson River, http://www.bom.gov.au/fwo/IDD60322/IDD6 ... .plt.shtml
the sudden rises at the same time of day for the same period of time are massive discharges of poisoned water from the mine, straight into the Daly.

Seems that the Fergusson River Gauge has gone off line on the BOM web site, sensitive information not for the general public.
Never mind, this link is not as easy to censor.

Its OK, the mine has a permit from Government to dump toxic waste into the river.
And after all its for Jobs and Growth

Re: Poison the Daly
Certainly looks like regular discharge, hope its relatively clean given the lack of water running down the river to dilute it

Re: Poison the Daly
The permit conditions for discharge rely on river flows, the mine discharges into the Edith River that is currently flowing between 500mm and 800mm. The discharge bursts raises that to near 3 Metres. according to the NTG.
Here are a couple of older press articles outlining the operation.

The weather conditions at the moment are perfect for the mine, they can have a high discharge with little refill of the pits from rain, its gold...
