Buffalo Creek access

Talk about bungled boat ramps, net buybacks, marine no-go zones, mining disasters etc here.

Buffalo Creek access

Post by Matt Flynn »

The secure carpark fee at Buffalo Creek ramp is being abolished.
From December 1 you can call a phone number for an access code to the gates.
Signs have been put in place at the compound.
Access is currently provided by a caretaker and users pay a fee to park in the secure compound.
There is CCTV and lighting to protect vehicles.
The change follows consultation with users and AFANT.

Looks like a pain to open and close the gate when on your own. Can't even park in the entry point to do this. Bet it gets left open a few times
how many is enough lures, rods and reels. Is there a magic number, considering you usually only catch 1 fish on a single lure on the one rod and reel your casting with.
