Buffalo Creek access

Talk about bungled boat ramps, net buybacks, marine no-go zones, mining disasters etc here.

Buffalo Creek access

Post by Matt Flynn » Sat Nov 02, 2019 2:17 pm

The secure carpark fee at Buffalo Creek ramp is being abolished.
From December 1 you can call a phone number for an access code to the gates.
Signs have been put in place at the compound.
Access is currently provided by a caretaker and users pay a fee to park in the secure compound.
There is CCTV and lighting to protect vehicles.
The change follows consultation with users and AFANT.

Tried to get in to park at the compound with the code supplied to us the other week.... was 100% useless and code was not working on their lock but saw another car in there already. Dunno how he got in. Bodgey system and hardly "secure" IMO

Had to park miles away :banghead:
Get out there and in amongst it :)

Looks like a pain to open and close the gate when on your own. Can't even park in the entry point to do this. Bet it gets left open a few times
how many is enough lures, rods and reels. Is there a magic number, considering you usually only catch 1 fish on a single lure on the one rod and reel your casting with.
