One in the low 80s from an unspecified lake runoff in the 'burbs after a massive storm drenched the area today.

Hit the harbour yesterday. Barra still plentiful. Dropped more than we landed ended up keeping this nice little 63cm and ended up with a feed of crabs to top day off. East arm if anyone is wondering. cr.p loads of jelly prawns around so the zerek shrimp did the damage again.

60cm Toga from Manton today. First time ever fished it... the Punt was skating on it!

One that has seen better days .... just a flesh wound, it still fought hard too for a little tacker.

Another lucky and rarely seen fork tailed barramundi that has had a few close calls with a boat impact and near miss or 2 with a couple of the the local crocs out near the marrakai track :croc: His tail split from croc attack and side gash from a boat skeg are both well healed now. But he has a fresh battle scar on the other side aswell as a slightly sore mouth from my lure too.

I threw it back in too. :D He's been lucky enough to cheat death a few times already but still smashed a lure and fought valiantly around the timber. The 50lb braid easily hauled him from the dense snags without much effort. He still jumped a few times too, even with the recent damage and complete split in its tail. I thought it'd be a bit of a shame to kill it, especially when I have plenty of other fillets in the feezer.... :drinking28:

A few photos from some harbour trips end of last week. Got nice weather on all trips. Soft plastics worked slow doing the goods.

Found plenty of fish at the Mary Bridge Lagoon over Easter but couldn't keep em out of the timber!

Here's 5.5 about 800m north of the bridge :croc:
