Bit late posting this but here it is for the record ... Kakadu Klash 2019 results above, and some words from the winner, Trevor Robb and Co, below.

Tactics won the 2019 Kakadu Klash barramundi fishing competition on the South Alligator River.
Craig's Fishing Warehouse's Trevor Robb took top spot with team mates Kai Robb and Kale Quinlan.
Trevor said: "We went out for a look on the Wednesday morning to see the bottom of the tide at Nourlangie Creek.
"We struck big fish straight up at the top of Nourlangie so the game plan was on.
"We kept in mind that the Klash is won by entering your team's biggest fish every day over the three days.
"With the push-in tide if we could get a big fish early we did not have to fish all of every day.
"I knew there were rapids coming out when the water was low in the creek so I took a small boat with a tiller-steer outboard and we got the best position early from about 6am, ready for the incoming tide.
"It was lines in at 6am and by 6.30am we had an 80cm fish on board on Day One.
"We waited longer at the spot to upsize and we did, with a 90cm, but on Day 2 and Day 3 we got the big scorers early.
"On Day 2 we got an 86 and on Day 3 an 83cm fish.
"We would go up the rapids and get above the tide while the floodwater was running out hard and dirty, I have found you'll never pull fish out of that running water, but the eddies on the sides are where the fish will be.
"We managed to hook solid fish sitting in the eddies and once you had hooked these resident fish there was nothing there until the tide started backing up.
"When the tide backed up we started using vibes and picked up better fish.
"After these morning sessions we knew that would be it for the day for us, but we hung around for longer to give people the impression we were still fishing.
"We were unloaded and back in the air-condtioning by 3pm every day.
"A few people ran the gauntlet downstream, they had strong winds to contend with, and all the recent rain and wind meant the water was unappealing, and it did not work out well for them.
"Most teams fished upstream, between Nourlangie Creek and Leichardt Rockbar.
"There were 101cm and 102cm barra landed on the last day, they were the best fish.
"There were also stories of woe of people losing big fish.
"On Day One Kai lost a possible metery at a creek mouth up near the Leichardt Rockbar.
"The second-placed team was Tackle World, skippered by Steve Compain, who was mostly fishing at Leichardt Rockbar and casting the big Kokoda soft plastics."
The Klash win was the first for Trevor, who is one of the Territory's leading fishos, with previous wins in three NT Barramundi Classics, three Barra Nationals, and two NT billfish competitions.
He said he was brought back to earth later in the week.
"I went to the Daly River on the Wednesday after the Klash to help with the Girls Gone Fishing event," he said.
"The Daly was running high, it had risen 4m in 40 hours or so and it rose 2m while we were there.
"I fished anyway and pulled a donut.
"They had some torrential rain the night before, the Katherine River had risen and all the Daly metering stations had kicked up, so it was unlucky timing for the 53 women's teams in the competition.
"That's fishing."
