Mates first Barra ever.

Post by Captain6979 »

On Sunday was lucky enough to see my mate Liz fishing, n had a flick land-based. She had never landed a Barra, and had been trying to get one since October.
She said she had lost small barras before, but hadnt landed one. Well, 5 minutes in, she had a 30-40 cm model on, but spat the rig after clearing the water twice. And 5 minutes later, the landing net was needed to retrieve the 60cm model she brought in! Lucky I was there with the net!
Pretty sure she is still smiling from catching it!! Not a bad success rate, 100% for legal sized barra, 1 from 1! Ha ha!

Cool 8)

There's nothing like seeing the smile from a first fish. Can't wait to see the pics when you put Liz onto the metre model.
