Trip out to Bynoe yesterday. Scored beautiful weather for this time of the year and ended up with a mixed bag.

Build up has been good so far. Got a lot of fish in the 80's and a couple of 90's out shady way. :surf: :surf:
Green 16A Bomber doing most of the damage. As well as Reidy's big ass in various colours.

The calm before the storm was pretty eerie early on today out the front, then the 100km hr winds kicked in after I'd pulled out nearly landing a 100mm plus branch on my car as I was putting on the straps and loading the rods in. Nearly copped it big time and even saw a boat with 4 onboard actually headed out as I floored it out of there. :? bugger that for a joke. ... I was just lucky enough to outrun it today just loading up in time to drive out through the chaos.

Doughnut on baz but cleaned up on 3 monster "golden cobbler" stinkin' mook mook perch using livies after what seemed like a billion km of trolling laps from 1100pm yesterday till 0800 this morning.

This little fella was swimming around like nothing was wrong at all, pretty tough little bugger ."just a flesh wound" ...

Caused by prop strike I'd reckon

Testing out a new rod but no fish today, did get a few snaps of double rainbows over the CBD so was pretty happy about that. Spot lost a bit of it's appeal for the arvo though when my double plugger slipped out on the way back up the "rocky beach" and I smashed my elbow on the rocks due to not bringing the adrenaline spiked reef boots out. ... Ouch :|
