Took Barry and his lovely lady Julie out today for a quick hours fishing. Julie got her first and second jewie and Barry got a couple as well. Got 5 total before we called it and headed the 650 meter trip back to the ramp

Budding young fisho wouldn't take his new fishing shirt off all day and wanted to wear it to bed

Went out last weekend Checked out mandorah on way out to fish reef. Picked this fella up on third cast on halve roosta popper in 10cm pillie pattern.

Tough weekend at Copeton, plenty of soul searching....we managed a couple of fish to keep the itch scratched. Great to catch up with Lats and (try to) introduce him to the fish of a thousand casts.
Oh and if you’ve been feeling the chill up there, check the guides on my rod. Without my glasses I assumed I had tied a terrible FG with a big tag. Was having trouble pulling it through the guides until it finally stopped. Each retrieve brought more water (balmy 14 degrees) on the line which gathered in the eyes until finally freezing solid.
Fun times sleeping in the swag...
