fishing the upper reaches of the Victoria River

Anyone fished this area recently? I'm going to be at Lajamanu for three months starting in December 17, just wondered what type of gear to take and what species I would encounter, any information would be apreciated

Take a 2kg spin setup and bait your size 14 unweighted long shanks with worms should be a few spangled perch archer fish and small sooties down that way you'll be a gun at catching livies by the end of it. :rofl:

You'd better off fishing Timber ck area around big horse and little horse ck either off the road and down at the mouths are good spots but unlikely they would fire in the next 3 months.

I use to harrass a few barra in the Camfield river in 04. either side of the Buntine Hwy bridge or down behind Camfield station
