Good to get these types of trips out the way early in the new year.Lats wrote:Thanks for all the advice. Isolator looked brand new so probably not it. So then I polished all the connections. None had corrosion but there was a kind of blue insulation paint on them. I'd say what I did the other day when I changed the battery out, I changed the order of the connections and put one with too much paint on the bottom. Just enough to interrupt the flow of power.
Anyway all good now. Both batteries are 12.8 and 13V at rest and when on the motor go up to and over 14V
I might have ruined a trip because I'm not a guru on motors or power but I guess it's a lesson learned
