Finniss river

Post by 2 brothers fishing »

Hi guys im thinking about heading to Finniss river this weekend, ive never been there so just after a few tips.
can i launch my 5m allycraft from the bank or should i just launch at the lodge and motor around? (im going with a few other people with 3.9m tinnys)
Is there many sandflies out there at night?
Any info will be great cheers

Might want to check but I believe the station has closed off beach access to mouth of the Finniss. Too many yahoo's.

Beach access still open and plenty of sandflies. Water still dirty and not much bait around.
