Mini Mini trip- what to pack, where to go

Post by theodosius »

Hi guys,

A mate and I are headed Mini Mini next week. Haven't done sucha big trip before and wanted to know what the important stuff to pack is. We've got 2 epirbs, all other safety gear, spare props. Wh as t should we take? What have you regretted not taking on an extended trip? Also, what kind of spot is best for anchoringup for the night? Are there places we canclimboff the boat to stretch our legs? Any and all advice and pms welcome!

We'll be sure to pack a camera!

Roger. Plenty of anchorages inside Endogout Island and the Mini Mini system. There are multiple deap water junctions and banks so it is easy to find a Lee to the wind ect. The west side of the island itself has heaps of beaches around it that you could jump out onto to stretch the legs. I wouldn't say they were that good for anchoring on but be ok for a walk around and break from the boat.

take a sand anchore or mud plough. makes for better anchoring while sleeping.

Cheers Seano. All I've caught on vibes is the bottom and blue salmon, but I'll be sure to bounce the bottom of some deeper holes with them!
