Sorry jabsy ,,,I meant the " Locals " anchored in the extended mooring basinjabsy wrote:You mean Dinah? Thats a bit rich.... The boat ramp was there long before the "locals", those unit owners/renters chose to be near an existing boat ramp. Is it due to them that no lights are on late at night?jeffish wrote: Had a long chat with him as he cautioned me about my speed coming
into the ramp ( might of been a bit quick) . He reckons they going to
start using radar guns down there because of all the complaints from
the locals.
That mob made more racket on their balconies than anyone in the carpark could on the last two weekends that I fished.

Jabsy...the NT Water Police are talking about enforcing the 5 knots zone around the moored vessels. The 'locals' being the yacht owners who live on their boats

Cheers, my bad. I dont have any issue with the 5 knots in the channel.
Pity the govt cant be as proactive in legislating to keep those idiots from tying up on the Dinah pontoon. Unfortunately there's no law stopping them.Gregsy wrote:If they want to start giving fines out how about they book the yachties for leaving their tenders tied to the pontoon!!
