Have been trying to plan a trip to king ash bay later this year. was wondering are there any good land based spots up there? have seen lots of posts from people in boats but cant seem to find any land based stuff at all. and is there any other good spots down that way to check out for land based?

There are spots but it is much better if you have a tinny. Call the KAB fishing/boating club, they might be willing to reveal a couple of secrets. Keep in mind it is croc country.
