WTB BOAT
Hi All.
Want to buy a boat in the 4-5m range. Will consider slightly outside these lengths but thats roughly what we are after.
Decently powered but doesnt need to be a speed boat.
Keen to look at most makes and models so long as it is fairly well kitted out. Sounder and Electric preferable.
Want something to start hitting the Harbour and creeks in with the Missus as well as be stable enough to hit Melville on clear days.
Whats out there and what should we steer clear of if anything. Hate wet boats........

Re: WTB BOAT
There was a 4.7-ish Bluefin centre console with 60 yamaha and 55lb Minn Kota for sale in katherine just over a month ago, about 20 grand. Is this what you are chasing? There was a 5m topender with 115 on gumtree for $20k last weekend too.

Re: WTB BOAT
Mate linked me to the topender but when I tried looking at it online it was removed.
Up to 25k Max NBM
There is a QUINTREX nomad elite for 17 at the moment that's well kitted. But never been in one so not sure how they are. Be great in small creeks just not sure about having to cross the harbor and doubt it would be suited to a Dundee or Melville trip.

Re: WTB BOAT
My 470 topender is still for sale. 70hp yammie, no leccy and just a standard lowrance sounder. The post is in the classifieds section(cant link from my phone).
Slightly above your budget though.

Re: WTB BOAT
When I was looking there was a nice Trailcraft 5.4 on one of the backroads at Howard Springs. It had a dual axle drive on trailer, a merc 115 with about 550 hours and a set of covers, she wanted 25k. I'd bet its even still there. I spoke to her a couple of times, she is based in Borrorloola/King Ash Bay.
