Hi Fellas

There is dredging happening in the basin at Larrakeyah at the moment. All the lines are marked which is perfectly good when there is no current ripping in or out. But when there is a current running these are dragged underwater. So avoid the area if possible. I saw a boat go over these hazard floats yesterday doing about 30kts, lucky he didn't hit anything. See the attached photos.

Usually it's the person who makes the discovery, they have all the relevant info for questions asked, clever dick..........

But even I forgot about it and nearly ploughed through it Thursday night.

Yep went out last night same thing ! Didn't see it till right on top of it
It's bullshit the amount of stuff that's floating in the harbour ATM and it's got barely enough lighting
One of my mates is the fella that hit the unlit floating pontoon in east arm he is currently in court trying to get reamed bye the government
The day after he hit it on a Sunday there was contractors there fitting big flood lights to the back of the dredges platform yet they are claiming it was suffiently lit up !!
As we drove past the larrakiah floats another boat heading out of the harbour drove writhing 50m of the floats before dropping of the plane ..
