Corroboree fishing Friday night, full moon

Post by Scamper »

What a great night.... that means we didn't catch a barra.

Beautiful full moon...... that means we didn't hook up a barra.

Good company...... well we weren't bored.

Infact between the 3 of us, trolling, we boated 32 tarpon, and that doesn't count the ones we dragged in the water to get them off the lures.
(saves pulling them in to the boat and every one winding their lures in).
90% of the fish were about 30cm long, fun and lively.

No we didn't catch a barra, and don't think we hooked one.
Water was about 27 C, only the occasional boofing was heard.
Fished from evening to 11pm.
one or two mozzies, that few you could count them.
Only ones on the water, nil problems with over crowding at the ramp and certainly no sun burn.
Night fishing..... gotta love it.

Try fish the Lillies with seedless frogs on the surface. But sounds like a fun night.

Good post mate. At the end of the day, we all have quiet trips - quiet doesn't mean that we enjoy ourselves any less though. Would have been a pretty night.

Cheers,
