.......the Dummy in question being me.
How do I upload waypoints to an SD card off my computer, then to my Gen 1 HDS 5? Do I need a program? Do I have to buy it? I'm upgrading my sounder in the near future, so I don't want to buy a program, cheers in advance for any advice.

Oh well, looks like I'm sitting in the boat with a beer or two tonight. No worries, Freo won and I won't have to watch Toy Story again!

Cheers Nomad, but too late, I reckon I got to about 15 waypoints, then thought " Fuggit, that'll do for now, back to the fridge". I'll give it a go next time, looks the goods.

What format do you have the waypoints stored in on your computer?
I use GPSBabel to do all my waypoint conversion.
