Make sure you have genuine Permission mate,

there is a bunch of blokes going to court in the near future for hunting without permission just near Adelaide River.

It is an absolute joke the amount of people doing the wrong things and poaching these days.

nah we dont have dogs, just going for a walk by the looks. I dont pay the petrol of the ute, so driving is not an issue dont mind going further.

Definetly dont want to break any laws so wanna stay legal.

yeah like the post above says mangroves (beleive it or not) hold pigs. Your best bet is to walk along the edges of the mangroves where the bush meets the mangroves. you will be amazed by the amount of (mostly old!) sign you will see ... they seem use these areas as transit ways ... also look for low points in the land where fresh water drains into the mangroves ... you might get one campd up in these dry creek beds this time of year it will just be pools of water not flowing ... at the end of the day thoough its pretty hard hunting even when you have a dog that knows what its doing ... but on the other hand one of the best pigs ive ever seen was caught using this method (and it wasnt too far from Darwin!) maybye get one of the gillie suits and make sure your not wearing any strong deoderant !
