Took a trip out from Shady for an overnighter with MR126 and a couple of blokes from work. Bagged a few nice fish, best being a 94cm on a Big Ass B52 in green and yellow. Had to resort to the green and yellow as my kryptonite was claimed by another 90ish Barra earlier courtesy of being gill raked on the leader......

Big year for the number 90!

Seems like a lot of 90cm range barra being caught across the Top End.

And down here I'm getting plenty around 90mm ...

They'll be Metreys next year !
Between us we would have hooked/caught a dozen or so in the nineties...
What's a zero here or there Matt ??

When your boat is broken and needs some TLC from the welder you always need a backup plan for a bit of relief for that twitching casting finger. Not huge but when your desperate after a few weeks without a boat any fish is a good fish, and when most of your spare time is devoted to fixing the boat.

how many is enough lures, rods and reels. Is there a magic number, considering you usually only catch 1 fish on a single lure on the one rod and reel your casting with.

Nice choice of paper Trent!

Last gasp for me tomorrow. No good at Coastals for me Tuesday, Wednesday. Decks dropped a couple around 90. I got one about 70, but didn't bother with a pic. I really should start entering the smaller ones, instead of waiting for bigger fish. :bonk:

Ziggy picked up his new PB barra out Shady way on a trip we did earlier this month.

It measured 91cm and was caught on a green bomber.

My best for the month came in at 89cm, but I didn't get a photo.

I'll have to claim Ziggy's fish this month thanks Matt,

cheers

Got this 65cm on a yellow barra classic in Wilshire 2 last week. Very quiet day though, only got one other hit.
