Well, nothing is going to beat a 144. Never the less I do have an entry this round.

I was going to enter my second ever metery, coming in at 107cm, caught a couple days before the start of the Classic. Then these fellas went and caught some big fish! So I planned for two trips over the weekend gone.

First trip was to SWA for the early morning low on Saturday. This trip produced a big fat donut for jewies and crabs which was a bit of a disappointment. Second trip was to the harbour on the Sunday arvo low and this trip produced the goods. Unlucky for me I got busted off on big fish twice but that was my own fault for not putting the hurt on hard enough. I did manage a 90ish jewie along with a pan sized goldie. But it was the deckie that came through with the goods landing a 105cm and 120cm jewie.

p..s weak effort from me boys - only a 101 from Charles point on a solo predawn run. Took a 1/2 squid.

I only took a quick snap as I Didn't think it would have to be entered , but sadly that was all I could get.

Hardly worth a mention

but took the young feller out Last Friday for a walk along the banks, we got a few Barra and good to see some fiesty small ones around too.
Jordan (Smartypants) turned 18 last week so lookout, that's what he wanted to do.

Water was beautiful and saw a few cruising, but only managed a 60cm for the month, was a nice healthy fat fish though, didn't get out after jew.

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!
