Best way to open your account at Corroboree
Don't give one to the wife tho, you'll never get it back.

53cm on warlock at the top end of the main billabong at corroboree, the waters cleanest ive seen for a while although only fished it once last year and first time this year, was pretty quiet and tough going, if you could find weed beds with a good edge there were fish. Fires have burnt the grass and edges along most of the main billabong which wont be too good when (if) the rain hits out there!

Re: FFF Seadogs 2015 - Round 7 - Billabong and Dam Barra
Been a bit hectic this month, but finally managed to get out yesterday to a couple old
Favourite spots, did well, got a dozen Barra between us as well as a Toga, biggest was 62cm
But saw some much bigger ones. Was walking along the bank too so was great fun

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!

FFF Seadogs 2015 - Round 7 - Billabong and Dam Barra - results attached
Many thanks to Swoffa yet again
Get your protests or error corrections in asap.
Not many fish entered in Round 7, as was expected, with the freshwater fishing below par.
Rounds 8 and 9 will be better, if you can't catch good saltwater baz in Sept/Oct, you should try golf.

Not convinced the billabongs are that bad this year??? I only fished them twice and got good fish on both occasions from 2 different ones. Manton Dam on the other hand is rat shitp.Matt Flynn wrote:FFF Seadogs 2015 - Round 7 - Billabong and Dam Barra - results attached

When guides who have fished Corroboree say it is down, and almost everyone else, it's fair to say it is down.
But fish are still caught.
Problem is that most probably didn't bother going when chances are better in the harbour. And the salties taste better.
Manton has been producing the odd cracker ... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Northern ... 270?ref=mf

Thats the same 84cm fish I caught last year in manton. Its the only token fish in the place! And some guides are doing ok in there. One of the posts on there backs that up!Matt Flynn wrote:When guides who have fished Corroboree say it is down, and almost everyone else, it's fair to say it is down.
