oh well seeing as it was my birthday yesterday I thought I better take a couple of the kids and go for an afternoon cruise in the harbour to see if I could bag a fish for the round.
Worked out well, nice light NW wind and a few fish busting up
first one did a screaming run then came in fairly easily, a nice Broadbar
then another screaming run from a longtail, poor fish was a bit unlucky as after lots of head shakes he mustve spat the lure and got hooked in the side...lol
a nice 71cm fish and a great afternoon on the harbour, and they both tasted great as a sashimi entrée with soy and wasabi, yum

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!

Well done
Surprised more have not done the same, this should have been one of the easier rounds.
Not that I am in a position to throw stones

Re: FFF Seadogs 2015 -Round 5 - Tuna and Queenfish + Barra
I decided to roll the dice and have a look around shoal bay and flick a few lures around to see if I could at least get on the board for the month, even though I wasn't expecting much. I managed to fluke a barra that went 99cm. Normally, I would be have been disappointed not to make the magic meter mark - but given the 15 cm bonus, it was just as satisfying at landing a metery.
