Roche is a cracker spot for big skinnies, as are the rock patches in close along Fog Bay, including the one out front of the lodge.

Trolling the Dundee foreshore through to Bynoe at high tide in the morning works too.

Also try Middle Reef sandbar (southern end), the harbour rock walls on big tides, Lee Point, and around The Rock at Shoal Bay.

The Blue Holes and Vernon Islands have heaps of skinnies.

Should be easy to get a big fish on the board in this round

Yer, I got donuts as well. Should have entered a 70cm baz I got in the harbor last week but thought I would get better until the wind blew 30 knotts while we were at Dundee. We made the decision to have a rum or 40 instead of fishing the second day. Any way 6 more rounds to come and all in good fishing times.

Hi there,

Last weekend I went fishing at Bynoe with Double Haul, in a great boat.
I haven't written a report about it yet, but will do that this week, if time permits.

Any way, here is a photo of a little Barra I got, on a Zman chartreuse.
I did get bigger ones later on, but the newspaper had flew out of the boat by then...
:bonk:

It was a great weekend, even if my Barramundi that I enter for the comp this week is only 49cm.

Have a good day,
Pecheur
