If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!

Shoal Bay Monday. 98cms
2cms short! Should have left her mouth open, you can do that here eh?
Caught on the good ol' Gold Bomber. Went back for an upgrade Wednesday, but only managed a 96.

Great fish!
Yes, mouth can be open, it is more important to get the fish back in the water quickly than waiting for it to pose correctly.

Re: FFF Seadogs 2015 - Round 3 - The Greenwater - Barra
Hi there,
Well done guys, some great fish in there.
I haven't been barra fishing yet this month...
And I don't think that I will have the time too.
I do have my monday free, but the tides are not that good for land based barra this coming monday.
So I will have to do better in the next few months!
Have a good day,
Pecheur

I had a cracker little session down at E.P this morning 3 barra for 3 casts.
I took one keeper 56cm then a 45 and maybe a 40ish . The wind picked
up and it was all over. All caught on a Reidys jnr B52 gold char. No golf balls this trip Matt just Barra

Caught this 71cm fish from Shady earlier in the week, a small consolation prize considering what a crappy week I've had....

You can never be too prepared, always have your gimbal at arms reach.scottmac wrote:Good thing ya had the gimbal belt on mate!

Yes and no.....Yes we went down to the Roper and no, because 4 days into the trip I had engine problems. Tried to rectify them in location, but was unable to do so; a long trip back, licking my wounds. Almost cried.....
