Headed out to 2nd Island Maningrida over the weekend for this queenie 82cm, one of dozens caught for the day the sea was thick with them, it was rediculous.

Sorry about the poor quality selife shot, there was no time to be mucking around with photos.

Also chucked in a photo of my first ever tuna, holy cr.p those things are rockets.

Congrats on those who have caught fish for this round

If you didn't get one this week you have missed a great chance with a good combo of winds and tide :fishing:

A little Barra/ from East Arm today, the little guy went 60cm. Totally unexpected as I thought we'd come back with nothing, tasted great with chips and a side dish of Barra green curry.

Not great but still not a donut :D Only managed to get out fishing once for the month.

56cm barra from Bynoe. Sight cast in less than a foot of water using a pink thing.

Well no tuna or queen fish for me - but I did manage to jag a 114cm barra. I was taken in shoal bay on a 100mm soft plastic at nite. sadly the only thing I had to take a photo of was an old ipod with no flash the photos are very poor. The fish swam off strong.

jon

I have also included a close up of the paper
