If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!

I was waiting for a bigger fish to enter but time is quickly running out. 56cm caught landbased at perfume point Maningrida on a just under, my new favourite lure.

Here is a 102 caught at the daily on a gold strata - it was Deans first metery, always a pleasure to see someone join the club.
Heaps of big fish around this month but sadly none went bigger than this.

Here is a pic of the young fellas first ever Barra, he got it at Tommycut on an Elton John Squidgy. As you can imagine he was stocked and to top it off he got another one 5 minutes later that measured 77, Unfortunately we didn't take a pic of the second one one the mat. We weren't able to get a newspaper, I intended to pick one up at the Bark Hut inn but it was closed when we got there early in the morning. No matter, I'm not too fussed

Re: FFF Seadogs 2014 - Round 2 - The Greenwater
Here is my entry for this round. Nothin special but considering I have worked for the whole month im pretty happy to put something on the board. Was caught on a chartreuse bomber in Anson bay on a helifish trip after pulling a 12 hour shift the night before and having to go to work that night as well for another 12 hour shift. To say I was a bit useless that night was a understatement but oh well, I went fishin It wasn't the biggest fish caught on the trip. That honour belonged to Damo who pulled a nice 85cm fish from the same spot. We landed about 20 fish and probably dropped half that number again. My appologies for the mud all over the fish but its hard land them with out getting some mud on them. A great experience and something I can recommend at least once in your life just for the flight over the flood plains. Fish are a bonus.
