Re: FFF Seadogs rules update
The way I read it, a competition registered boat owner can take out 3 mates none of whom are registered in the seadogs comp, then lay any or all fish caught on a brag mat take a pic and enter the fish even if he/she doesn't even put a line in the water?
Plenty of room for stretching the integrity of the comp anyway imho

Re: FFF Seadogs rules update
It is OK for registered Seadogs entrants to be awarded points for fish caught from registered boats other than their own.
It will have to state clearly the situation in each fish entry, and that the skipper of the boat is OK with this.
These "other boats" must be registered for the Seadogs comp.
Who caught the fish on a registered boat has always been a moot point, there'd be no way to prove who. Skipper's skill counts most anyway!

Re: FFF Seadogs rules update
This has probably been answered somewhere, I just can't find it, but......
Do I need a sticker on a tackle box to fish land based or will my boat registration suffice?

Re: FFF Seadogs rules update
No need to register again if boat is registered.
Someone asked about livebaiting, yes that is OK, as there are no marshalls "lure only" can't be policed

What's about dam fish that have been washed over the wall in the floods and are caught in the river downstream? Loophole for those dirty, stinkin' Queenslanders?

Re: FFF Seadogs rules update
Says on registrations/rules post: "No fish permitted from Queensland's Boyne or Kolan Rivers for 2013."

I understand that and wasn't having a dig, just seems a bit sad and a comment on our society that it has to be like that to ensure everyone plays nice.Matt Flynn wrote:Re "seriousness" - better to get it all cleared up now than have disputes later.
